Handguns: Comprehensive cleaning for only $25.00.
Long Guns (Rifles and Shotguns): Detailed cleaning for just $35.00.
FFL Transfers
- $25 per firearm for the first firearm, $15 per firearm for additional transfers performed on the same transaction.
- $2 Background check for VA residents.
- $5 Background check for non VA residents.
- Must be a Virginia resident to purchase a handgun.
- After 7 days of firearm arrival, a $1 /day storage fee will be charged until the firearm is picked up. If the firearm is not picked up in 90 days, Suffolk Pawn & Gun will take possession of the firearm for re-sell unless prior arrangements have been made.
- We require a copy of the transferring dealer’s FFL to log the firearm into our system and transfer it to the customer.
- We DO NOT accept firearms from non-FFL dealers.
- Denials will be charged $27.
- $50 per firearm for the first firearm, $25 per additional firearm packaged in the same box.
- Customer is to provide packing/shipping material (but do not seal package).
- $10 Boxing fee if unsealed box is not provided by the customer.

How It Works?
A Firearms Transfer is the process by which a firearm is legally transferred from one party to another through a licensed firearms dealer. This transfer involves several steps to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws. The key components of an FFL firearm transfer include:
- Initiation of Transfer: The transfer process begins when a firearm is purchased or transferred to another individual. The seller, whether an individual or a dealer, must ship or deliver the firearm to an FFL holder.
- Receiving Dealer: The recipient of the firearm must select an FFL dealer who will handle the transfer. The chosen FFL dealer will receive the firearm shipment, usually requiring the sender to provide a copy of their FFL license for verification.
- Background Check: upon arrival at the FFL dealer, the recipient is required to complete a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) form 4473 and VA Form SP-65. The FFL dealer then conducts a background check through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) to ensure the recipient is eligible to possess a firearm.
- Transfer Approval: if the background check is successful and the recipient is cleared, the FFL dealer finalizes the transfer. If there are any issues or delays with the background check, the transfer may be delayed or denied.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: the FFL dealer maintains records of the transaction, including the completed form 4473 and details of the background check. These records must be kept for specified and are subject to inspection by the ATF.
- Completion: Once all legal requirements are met and the transfer is approved, the recipient can take possession of the firearm.

Conceal Carry Classes Are Available
- Class is $75.
- Conceal carry class max participants is 25 but there will only be 12 tickets sold online.
- Must register and pay in advance.
- Do NOT bring your firearm to training class, as firearm simulators will be utilized.
- Certificate of Training will be provided upon completion of the class.
